The performance of “February 7, 1989: Nagoya Rainbow Hall” is engraved in this work. It is the stereo sound board recording. At our shop, we have archived various masterpieces in 1989, starting with the iconic sound board “SENDAI 1989 (Zion-089)”. This week is also a good opportunity for the rehearsal album “OSAKA REHEARSALS 1989 (Zion-198)”, so let’s organize the collection according to the schedule at that time.

Above, all 8 performances. It was the largest in the world, but the performance in Japan is also the best in my career. Although the number of performances was one step away in 2002, it was an overwhelming climax overrunning the famous venues that symbolize various parts of the archipelago. In particular, Higashi-Meihan was held with two performances each, and this work was also the fourth performance concert in the middle of it.
This work recorded at such a show is just a superb stereo sound board recording. As a matter of fact, this show has long been known for leaked soundboards and has reigned as one of the most popular classics. This work is also a copy of the same sound board. .. .. Well, there isn’t. Obtain a miracle of the master who became the origin. It is the highest peak update board that has been made into a press CD again.
In fact, its quality is transcendent. It is a mix table direct connection type with almost no cheers, and the playing sound and singing voice are reproduced in the brain with the core exposed. The vividness for on-site PA is fully open, and the stereo feeling that jumps left and right with bread is also great. Its awesomeness has become famous and half-legendary even in the conventional version, but this work is an even more intense Omoto master sound. Anyway, it is bright and shining brightly. If the outline is vivid, the edges are sharp, and the darkness of the silent part is extremely deep. Perhaps because of that, the ensemble itself feels three-dimensional, and even such an amazing existing board can now be heard flat and moody.
The original master sound is a full show of “LOVESEXY Tour” that Andy Warhol called “the most wonderful concert ever”. As mentioned above, “SENDAI 1989” is also very popular, but this work is even longer. Let’s organize the set while comparing here.

★ Superb stereo sound board recording of “February 7, 1989: Nagoya Rainbow Hall” performance. そんな本作に刻まれているのは「1989年２月７日：名古屋レインボーホール」公演。そのステレオ・サウンドボード録音です。当店では象徴的サウンドボード『SENDAI 1989（Zion-089）』を筆頭に、様々な名作で1989年来日をアーカイヴ。今週はリハーサル・アルバム『OSAKA REHEARSALS 1989（Zion-198）』良い機会でもありますので、当時のスケジュールでコレクションを整理して看ましょう。

以上、全８公演。世界的にも最大規模でしたが、来日公演もキャリア随一。公演数は2002年に一歩譲るものの、列島各地を象徴する名会場を蹂躙する圧倒的な絶頂期でした。特に東名阪は２公演ずつ実施され、本作はそのド真ん中となる４公演目のコンサートでもありました。
そんなショウで記録された本作は、まさに超極上のステレオ・サウンドボード録音。実のところ、このショウは以前から流出サウンドボードが知られており、定番中の大定番として君臨してきました。本作もまた、同じサウンドボードで既発のコピー。。。では、ありません。その大元になったマスターを奇跡の入手。改めてプレスCD化した最高峰更新盤なのです。
実際、そのクオリティは超絶。歓声もほとんどないミックス卓直結タイプで、演奏音・歌声が芯も丸出しに脳内再生。現場ＰＡ用の生々しさ全開で、パンで左右にブッ飛ぶステレオ感も絶大です。その凄みは従来盤でも有名で半ば伝説と化してきましたが、本作はさらに強烈な大元マスター・サウンド。とにかく鮮やかでギラッギラに輝きまくっているのです。輪郭も鮮やかならエッジもシャープで、無音部の闇もえらくディープ。そのせいかアンサンブル自体が立体的に感じられ、あんなに凄かった既発盤も今となっては平坦でモッサリして聞こえるのです。
その大元マスター・サウンドで描かれるのは、アンディ・ウォーホールをして「今まででもっとも素晴らしいコンサート」とまで言わしめた“LOVESEXY Tour”のフルショウ。前述のように『SENDAI 1989』も大人気となっているわけですが、本作はさらに長い。ここで比較しながらセットを整理しておきましょう。
