Both were professionally filmed and broadcast as TV broadcasts. However, while both performances are mixed in the broadcast, there is no explicit indication for each song. I couldn’t tell which song was the “afternoon part/night part”. However, recently the long version of the “afternoon part” has been leaked, and this time the full version of both performances has appeared. “Day part = main broadcast” and “night part = partly used” were found. This work is a complete image of such “night part”.

そんな驚愕２連作に刻まれているのは「1977年４月２日：日本武道館」公演。本作は、その第二弾である「夜の部」のマルチカメラ・プロショットです。同時リリースとなる『AFTERNOON SHOW』の解説でも触れましたが、初来日では日本武道館の４連続公演が行われており、その中でも「４月２日」は特別な日でもありました。本作の核心でもありますので、ここでも伝説の初来日をスケジュールの面から振り返ってみましょう。

以上、全９公演。日本武道館では３日間・４公演が行われ、特に「４月２日」は１日２公演が実施されました。その両方がプロ撮影されてTV放送として放送さました。ただし、放送では両公演が混ぜられつつ、１曲１曲に明示はなし。どの曲が「午後の部／夜の部」なのか判別できませんでした。ところが最近になって「午後の部」の長尺版が流出し、今回は両公演の完全版が登場。「昼の部＝放送のメイン」「夜の部＝一部使用」が判明しました。本作は、そんな「夜の部」の完全映像なのです。

【姉妹篇も超える初登場だらけの衝撃】
実際、本作から流れ出るのは見たことのないアングルの連続。マルチカメラ映像の一部が流用されている可能性もるので厳密には分かりませんが、TV放送に丸ごと使われているのは「Let Me Go, Rock ‘n’ Roll」「Cold Gin」「Rock And Roll All Nite」の３曲。つまり、ほとんどのシーンが全世界初公開となる超・激レア映像なのです。
もちろん、衝撃度は同時リリースの『AFTERNOON SHOW』を遙かに上回る。何しろ、開演パートから「何かが違う」の予感がビンビン。伝説的なミラーボールのシーンで流れるドラムやギターの試奏も異なっていますし、いざ「Detroit Rock City」が始まるとアングルもスイッチングもまるで違う。パッと見た感じでは別アングル編集のようにも思えるものの（当たり前ですが）演奏もアクションも違う（『AFTERNOON SHOW』と並べて再生させると、その場のノリの動きとお約束フォーメーションが判別できて面白いです）。脳裏に焼きついている伝説放送に酷似していながら見たことのない光景の波状攻撃に脳がバグり感がハンパないのです。
