Digitally Remastered Play sample : Click Image To Enlarge オアシスのデビューは1994年4月、シングル「スーパーソニック」である。8月にはファースト・アルバム『デフィニトリー・メイビー』をリリースし英国で初登場1位。そしてアルバム・リリースとほぼ同時に初来日公演が行なわれた。恐るべきスピードである。まだファースト・アルバムをリリースしたばかりの新人バンド。会場は渋谷、大阪、名古屋の各クラブ・クアトロで全5公演である。本作は、そのデビュー間もない1994年9月に行なわれた初来日公演を、全公演完全収録している。 【9月14日渋谷クアトロ公演初日】 9月12日に初めて日本の地を踏んだオアシスのメンバーは、13日にオフをとり、いよいよ初日のこの日、日本のファンの前に姿を現した。「コンバンワ、ニホン」。この後も数多く来日公演を行なったオアシスだが、この日がまさにファースト・アピアランスである。この日は既発盤として『GIG FOREVER』というタイトルがリリースされており、本作も同じマスターを使用している。 【9月15日渋谷クラブクアトロ公演二日目】 これまで少量のCDRでしか流通していなかったコンサートで、プレス盤では本作が初となる。メンバーがステージに登場する前から収録されており、この日もリアムは「コンバンハ、ニホン、トーキョー」と挨拶をしている。音質は初日に劣らず素晴らしいもので、この日がこれまで未CD化であったのが不思議なほど高クオリティである。 【9月16日渋谷クラブクアトロ公演三日目】 この日も高音質の音源が残されており、既発盤は観客からの歓声から採用されたであろう『anikii!』というタイトルで知られている公演である。本作も同一ソースを使用しているが、『anikii!』では欠落していた「Married With Children」後からノエルのアコースティックセットが始まるまでの曲間も収録しているのが特徴である。 【9月18日大阪クラブクアトロ公演】 この日、大阪公演は、これまで家内製手工業CDRの狭い流通のみで、音質的には東京やこの後の名古屋に比して劣るものの、プレス盤としては本作が初登場となる。「コンバンワ、オーサカ」。 【9月19日名古屋クラブクアトロ公演】 この日は初めてアンコールに応え二度目の「Rock ‘n Roll Star」を演奏した事でも有名な初来日公演最終日である。このコンサートは長らく「Stain In A Blue Sky」という既発盤タイトルで親しまれていた公演であり、近年も「Nagoya 1994 Dat Master」というタイトルがリリースされている。本作もまた両者と同じソースであるが、音の感触は前記2タイトルのいずれとも異なるので、是非聴いていただきたい。 【9月14日渋谷クラブクアトロ・サウンドチェック】 ツアー初日渋谷クラブクアトロにおけるサウンドチェックを収録している。存在は以前から囁かれていたものの、近年になって発掘された音源である。ノエルがアコースティックで演奏しているもので、本来のサウンドチェックの意味からすれば、他のメンバー、他の楽器も鳴らしておくべきではないかと思うのだが、もしかしたらサウンドチェックの流れで別の目的で録音されたものかもしれない。そして2曲のみながら、プロショットでシューティングされた映像より、サウンドボード音源にて「Live ...
