Yngwie Malmsteen / Nagoya 1995 Dat Master / 2CD / Zodiac Live at Nagoya-shi Kokaido, Nagoya, Japan 19th September 1995 Play sample : Click Image To Enlarge キャリア最大のジャパン・ツアーで絶頂を極めていた1995年のイングヴェイ・マルムスティーン。その現場をフル体験できる衝撃の新発掘アルバムが永久保存決定です。 そんな本作に刻まれているのは「1995年９月19日：名古屋市公会堂」公演。その極上オーディエンス録音です。2009年を最後にイベント的な来日しかしなくなってしまったイングヴェイですが、80年代／90年代の日本人気はそれはそれは凄まじいものでした。その中でも最長・最大規模だったのは、1995年の“MAGNUM OPUS Tour”。まずは、その日程で絶頂だった日本人気を思い出してみましょう。 ・９月８日『DOUBLE MAGNUM（鹿児島）』 ・９月９日『DOUBLE MAGNUM（九州）』 ・９月11日：広島郵便貯金ホール ・９月12日：松山市民会館 ・９月14日：倉敷市民会館 ・９月15日『OSAKA 1995（映像）』 ・９月16日：京都会館 ・９月18日：尼崎市総合文化センター ・９月19日：名古屋市公会堂　←★ココ★ ・９月20日：栃木県総合文化センター ・９月22日：北海道厚生年金会館 ・９月24日：岩手教育会館 ・９月25日：秋田市文化会館 ・９月27日：新潟テルサ ・９月28日：イズミティ21 ・９月29日：神奈川県民ホール ・９月30日『THE ONLY ONE（武道館）』 以上、全17公演。オーケストラとバンドの２回来日が実現した2001年（合計12公演）さえも超え、２位の“FACING THE ANIMAL Tour（14公演）”にも大差を付けての１位。しかも、公演数だけでなくハイライトの日本武道館も実現（この時が最後でした）させるという、まさに絶頂のジャパン・ツアーでした。本作の名古屋公演は、その中盤９公演目にあたるコンサートでした。 その人気ぶりのわりに、これまでプレス級の決定盤に恵まれてこなかった時期でもあるのですが、本作はその鬱憤（？）を晴らす衝撃の極上ライヴアルバム。プレス名盤を連発している独自ルートから新発掘されたDATマスターなのですが、そのサウンドたるや「まるでサウンドボード」を地で行く凄まじさ。心を鎮めてヘッドフォンで聴き込むとスネアやバスドラの音色にオーディエンスっぽさも感じなくはないのですが、それは「証拠探しのため顕微鏡的に聴き込めば」という次元の話。普通に聴くだけなら猛烈に引き締まった輪郭と見事なセパレート感は空間録音とは思えません。 そんな超タイト・サウンドで画かれるのは、マイク・ヴェセーラが残した２大名盤『THE SEVENTH ...
